De Tanto Golpear

“DE TANTO GOLPEAR” by DiegoAS

This mural is celebrating the tradition of the drum and bass drum in Moratalla.

"I wanted to represent the Nazarene, as the older residents say, whose costumes are made from patches of worn-out garments, since they couldn't afford to buy a suit made from a single piece of fabric.” - DiegoAS

Moratalla is the only town where the drummer plays with his face covered Aqualiainted hood, performs the drum rolls individually, and wears tunics in a wide variety of colors and combinations, making this multicolored river one of the most striking aspects for visitors.
