David Bowie died a year ago today. The world mourned the loss of the greatest rock star ever, just two days after the release of his musical farewell ‘Blackstar’ and a month after the opening of an off-Broadway show ‘Lazarus.’ Bowie privately battled cancer during the final years of his life as he worked on the 2016 release. “I think he thought if he was going to die, this would be a great way to go.
