“Daisy Peterson Sweeney” Kevin Ledo’s most recent mural produced by Mumtl, in Little Burgundy, Montreal.

Daisy is unfortunately no longer with us, but this mural celebrates this highly respected woman, amazing musician, teacher and co-founded the Montreal Black Community Youth Choir, right in the neighborhood she lived in.

Daisy taught many of the jazz greats, including her brother Oscar Peterson, Oliver Jones, Ken Skinner, and Joe Sealy among others.
